A California native, Esther Tiedemann is a *cum laude *graduate of Concordia College, Seward, NE with a B.S. in Education (music major) and a *summa cum laude* graduate of Troy University, AL with a B.S. in Business Administration (accounting major).

She has a lifelong love of participating in choral and instrumental music at her church and in the community.  For over 35 years she has taught K-12 vocal and instrumental music in churches and schools in CA, TX, NY, and FL.  In the Florida Panhandle, she performed as a violinist with three orchestras and had her own violin teaching studio of 15 students.  She enjoys performing in school music concerts, and for weddings, military retirements, and special events of all kinds. 

Mrs. Tiedemann also plays flute, folk guitar, and handbells.  For seven years in Florida, she sang with the 24 voice Okaloosa (FL) Chamber Singers and was frequently featured as a soprano soloist. She currently performs as a violinist with the Paradise Symphony, sings with the North Valley Chamber Chorale (Chico), and directs the choir at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Paradise. In Paradise and Chico, she is a violin instructor for Strings in Schools, The Wright Keys Academy of Musical Arts, and has her own violin studio in Paradise.

Esther Tiedemann is an AF (retired) wife with two grown children.  Mrs. Tiedemann teaches both traditional and Suzuki instruction in Paradise and Chico.  In summer, 2013, Esther completed additional pedagogy studies at Indiana University, Bloomington.  She is a Suzuki registered teacher in violin Books 1, 2, and 3.
